History launches on Hungarian DTT

A+E Networks’ has inked a carriage deal for its History channel with Antenna Hungaria, which will see it made available to Antenna subs on its MinDig TV Extra digital terrestrial service. The pay DTT service now comprises 31 channels, 13 of which have been added recently. 


Sándor Jurásek, head of retail sales at Antenna Hungária said: “In 2011 MinDig TV Extra achieved the highest growth among Hungarian wireless pay-TV operators, which shows that our strategy focusing on the “most wanted” channels is generating significant market demand. We are pleased to add such a blue-chip channel like History to our line-up.”
