MTG extends Champions League rights in the Baltics
Modern Times Group has extended the broadcasting rights it holds to UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League football in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania for a further three years.
The rights include broadcast coverage on free-to-air TV, pay TV, mobiles and the internet until the end of the 2014/2015 championship.
MTG will broadcast all Champions League and Europa League matches on its free TV channels and on its Viasat Sport Baltic pay TV channel. The broadcaster has aired coverage of the Champions League in the Baltics since 2002 and the Europa League since it was launched in 2009.
MTG also holds broadcasting, mobile and online rights to the UEFA Champions League in Sweden, Norway, Denmark as well as broadcasting rights in Finland, Bulgaria and Ghana.
